Matthew Anderson

Matthew started in network hardware and topology research with a mission to close the Canadian rural-urban digital divide. His architecture for an edge-caching distributed virtual server garnered the attentioned of both Telus Communications and Shaw Communications after being aired on Bloomberg TV in 2017. His work at The University

of Lethbridge Internet Topology lab earned him and his team national innovation awards, naming Matthew as one of the top student entrepreneurs in the country by NEXT Canada. 

 

Matthew has an unwavering commitment to solving Canada's rural connectivity problem. His recent career focus has been prodominatly in the community broadband space, helping rural communities realize their potential to participate in the global digital economy.
