Jeff Sherwood

Jeff has been in the telecom industry for over 30 years. His career began with CN Signals and Communications installing Centralized Traffic Control systems for CN’s rail line in BC and AB. He then worked for Alberta Government Telephones all over Alberta installing infrastructure for the Individual Line Service program. After the conclusion of that program Jeff went into the datacom field designing and installing high-speed cabling systems and cable pathways (telecom rooms) for enterprise companies and universities using optical fibre and copper. He worked for TELUS Communications in Calgary for 14 years in an engineering group and worked mostly on large complex projects in downtown Calgary and northern Alberta. The last five years of his career found him focusing on business development more so than design/engineering. Jeff has extensive contacts in the telecom industry and enterprise community. His certifications include Journeyman Telecommunications Electrician and Registered Communications Distribution Designer
